1. MAT Analysis of BLEvu:
BLEvu is a way-finding tool for the visually impaired in an indoor space. It uses pre-installed bluetooth beacons to approximate the location of the user and give audio messages to guide the user through.
Motivation is quite high for the user as there is always a need for guidance in navigating indoors. This would enable a user to navigate without external help.
Ability is very low as it requires the Bluetooth beacons to be pre-installed. That has a lot of infrastructure requirement at a system level beyond the control of the user.
We did not get to testing out the trigger to enable a user to start using this. Hence the location is as shown in the picture above and it might have been difficult to persuade adaption of the tool.
