Laser harp + theremin

Named Tharp ( THeremin + hARP), this musical instrument borrows the strings with defined frequencies from a harp and the ability to bend a string without touching the frets, from the theremin. It has six virtual laser strings that the user plucks with one hand and a distance sensor that enables the user to bend a pre-chosen string. For ease of use, the instrument is tuned in open D tuning. The screen has a corresponding visualization for the sound the instrument plays.
