Foci workpod
Foci is a work pod that was designed for use in a cafe workspace. Even in a collaborative work environments, there are times when one needs to focus and work in solitude with minimum distractions. The foci gives the user his/her own personal space in a crowded environment. The fabric used in the workpod has sound absorbing qualities. It has a swiveling desk-let for using the laptop or tablet or a good old paper and pen. It even has a little space on the side for housing a backpack or books that the user might bring along. Like the HiStool, the work pod also had to capture the history of a 116 year old company and convey it's modern ideals as well. The understructure complements the design of the HiStool.

Foci workpod is also one of the fastest projects I had worked on. The whole process of initial sketch to making the product was done in three months. The learning was immense and it received a lot of appreciation from its users.
